After the battery has been removed, place the new one into its socket. Make sure that the positive side is facing up and that it is seated in all the clips. Slide the cover towards the key-ring portion until it loosens and is able to slide off. Then, remove the cover to reveal the mechanical key blade, which is hidden inside. It can be used to unlock your car from the driver's doors when you've lost or damaged your key fob.
